Youth flourish outdoors
Youth Flourish Outdoors provides unique interventions using adventure therapy to engage young people with complex backgrounds. Our practice framework seeks to enhance human rights; specifically the Rights of the Child, of People with Disabilities, of Indigenous Peoples, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the various UN covenants that uphold diversity of culture, gender, neurology and belief.
WHY WE DO THIS
Roughly half of all lifetime mental health problems start by the mid-teens. Early identification and intervention can maximise immediate and long-term health outcomes. Our programs are evidence informed, follow a specific model of trauma focused adventure practice and guarantee improvements.
